Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk


1. Introduction:

This Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk (the "Waiver") is a legally binding document between Revive Expeditions LLC (the "Company") and the undersigned individual (the "Volunteer"). The Volunteer acknowledges that they are voluntarily participating in a wilderness expedition organized by the Company.


2. Assumption of Risk:

The Volunteer understands and acknowledges that participating in wilderness activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Physical Injury: Broken bones, sprains, strains, cuts, and other physical injuries.

  • Illness: Dehydration, heatstroke, hypothermia, altitude sickness, and other illnesses.

  • Natural Hazards: Weather conditions, wildlife encounters, and other natural hazards.

  • Equipment Failure: Failure of gear or equipment.

  • Personal Error: Errors in judgment, lack of skill, or failure to follow instructions.


The Volunteer voluntarily assumes all risks associated with their participation in the wilderness expedition.


3. Waiver of Liability:

The Volunteer releases, discharges, and covenants not to sue the Company, its employees, agents, officers, directors, and successors (collectively, the "Company Parties") from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to the Volunteer's participation in the wilderness expedition, including but not limited to claims for:

  • Negligence: The Company Parties' alleged negligence or breach of duty.

  • Personal Injury: Death, dismemberment, or other physical injuries.

  • Emotional Distress: Mental anguish, emotional trauma, or other psychological harm.

  • Property Damage: Loss or damage to personal property.


4. Medical and Mental Health Issues:

The Volunteer acknowledges that participating in wilderness activities can have physical and mental health consequences. The Volunteer assumes full responsibility for any medical or mental health issues that may arise as a result of their participation.


5. Required Medical insurance

As a condition of participation in the wilderness expedition, the Volunteer must have current and valid medical insurance coverage. The Volunteer acknowledges that they are responsible for ensuring that their insurance coverage is adequate to cover any medical expenses that may arise during or after their participation.


6. Indemnity:

The Volunteer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company Parties from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to the Volunteer's participation in the wilderness expedition.


7. Entire Agreement:

This Waiver constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or writtenour text
